How to use the speaker cleaner
Prepare the phone first. Correct audio routing and speaker position matter more than repeating the tone.

Remove the phone case, disconnect Bluetooth and wired audio, and identify the affected built in speaker. Hold the phone so that speaker faces downward over a dry, lint free cloth.

Set the phone to a moderate hardware volume, press Eject water, and let one 60 second guided cycle finish unless the sound becomes harsh or the device feels unusually warm.

Check normal audio after the cycle. Run another cycle only after comparing the result; the tool never repeats automatically.

How a Water Eject Sound May Help
A phone speaker produces sound by moving a small diaphragm. Low frequency pulses and sweeps create larger, slower movements than high tones, which may help shift droplets resting near the speaker opening.
Results vary with speaker construction, grille shape, obstruction, liquid amount, phone orientation, and hardware condition. A browser tone cannot confirm where liquid is located or whether internal parts are damaged.
Position the Phone Correctly
Keep the affected speaker facing downward so gravity can assist movement toward the opening. Place a dry, lint free cloth below it without covering or pressing into the grille.
Start at moderate volume and increase only if playback remains clean. Maximum volume is not required, and severe distortion is a reason to stop.
If it stays muffled
Stop and let the phone dry.
Stop repeated cycles and allow the phone to dry naturally in a ventilated place. Follow the manufacturer's liquid exposure instructions and do not connect a charger while a liquid warning remains.
Persistent muffling, heat, charging warnings, microphone problems, or other faults can indicate liquid or damage beyond the speaker opening. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified repair provider.
What This Tool Cannot Fix
The sound cannot repair corrosion, a torn speaker, damaged seals, internal liquid exposure, charging faults, compacted debris, or failed electronic components.
This release is designed for a phone's built in speaker. It is not a cleaning or diagnostic tool for earbuds, headphones, watches, laptops, tablets, microphones, or external speakers.

Is the speaker cleaner free?
Yes. The guided cycle, fixed tone controls, and speaker test run in the browser without an account.
Does the tool upload anything from my phone?
No. It generates tones with the browser's Web Audio API. It does not record, inspect, or upload phone audio or files.
What frequency does the speaker cleaner use?
The guided cycle combines pulses near 165 Hz, sweeps from about 150 to 250 Hz, and short low frequency bursts. Advanced fixed tone is limited to 120 to 300 Hz.
Should I set my phone to maximum volume?
No. Begin at a moderate hardware volume and increase only if the tone remains clean. Stop if the speaker distorts severely, the phone becomes unusually warm, or playback is uncomfortable.
How many cleaning cycles should I run?
Run one cycle, check the result, and repeat only after reassessing the sound. If muffling persists, stop repeating the tone and allow more drying time.
Can a water eject sound repair a damaged speaker?
No. It may help move droplets near the opening, but it cannot repair corrosion, torn hardware, internal liquid damage, compacted debris, or failed components.
Can I use the tool while the phone is charging?
Do not charge a phone that may still be wet or shows a liquid detection warning. Follow the phone manufacturer's drying and charging guidance first.
Why does the speaker still sound muffled?
Liquid may remain elsewhere, the opening may contain debris, or hardware may be damaged. Allow natural drying and seek qualified service if muffling, heat, warnings, or other faults persist.
Does the sound work on every phone?
No result is guaranteed. Speaker size, grille design, frequency response, audio routing, obstruction, and the location of the liquid all affect the outcome.
Why did playback stop when I changed tabs?
The tool stops when the page is hidden so audio does not continue unexpectedly in the background. Return to the page and start a new cycle manually if appropriate.
