Privacy Policy

Olivez is a free online tools website. It does not currently require accounts, profiles, or subscriptions.

Olivez does not sell personal information or use locally processed tool inputs as a data product. If a tool processes something entirely in your browser, Olivez does not receive that input just because you used the tool.

Olivez is not an account-based service. You can use the website without creating a profile or handing over your personal information.

For tools that run locally, Olivez does not receive the numbers, text, images, or files you enter simply because you used the tool. There is no Olivez database quietly storing your calculator inputs or uploaded files.

• No account or user profile is required to use the tools
• No personal calculator history is maintained by Olivez
• Locally processed files are not uploaded just to perform the operation
• Locally processed tool inputs are not collected as an advertising or data-broker product
• Information stored only in your browser is not remotely accessible to Olivez

This does not mean that absolutely nothing is processed when you visit a website. Hosting, security, analytics, advertising, email, and specific server-assisted features can involve information being handled by the relevant service. Those cases are explained in this policy.

Many Olivez tools process numbers, text, images, and files directly in your browser. When a tool works locally, the information you enter or select stays on your device for that operation and is not uploaded to an Olivez server just to perform the calculation or conversion.

Local processing does not mean the page itself is offline. Your browser still loads Olivez and its assets. It simply means the actual tool input is processed on your device instead of being sent to Olivez for that operation. Some tools still need a limited server request for reference data or another function.

Nutrition Calculator

When you search for a food in the Nutrition Calculator, the search text is sent to an Olivez server endpoint so matching food records can be retrieved. Selecting a food requests its nutrient and serving data.

Once the food has loaded, changing the gram amount or serving quantity is calculated locally in your browser and does not require another nutrition-database lookup. Olivez does not intentionally create a personal, persistent history of the foods you search for.

Olivez uses browser storage for some features. Depending on the tool, this can include:

• Favourite and recently used tools
• Theme, unit, currency, and interface preferences
• Saved lists, wheels, teams, scores, and similar tool state
• Values entered into certain calculators
• Dismissed notices and other local settings

This information stays in the browser profile where it was saved. It is not an Olivez account or cloud profile, and Olivez cannot remotely access information that exists only in your browser storage.

Clearing site data for olivez.in may remove saved values, favourites, recent-tool history, and preferences. Olivez cannot retrieve or remotely delete information that exists only in your browser.

Shareable links

Some tools can put selected values or tool state into a page URL so the result can be shared. Anyone with the complete link may be able to read that information.

Values in a URL query string may appear in browser history, messages, request logs, or analytics records when analytics is enabled. Values after the # character are not normally sent in a standard page request, but they remain visible in the copied link.

Requests to other services

Some features make requests from your device to another website or service. For example, importing JSON from a public URL requires your browser to contact that URL. Network tools may also contact an external endpoint to return the information you requested.

The receiving service may process ordinary request information such as your public IP address, request time, browser details, and requested resource. Olivez does not control the privacy practices of third-party services you choose to contact.

Olivez is hosted on Vercel. When you visit the site, the hosting, networking, and security infrastructure used to deliver it may receive standard technical information such as:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Requested pages, timestamps, referrers, and response status
• Browser, device, operating-system, and language information
• Performance, error, security, and abuse-prevention logs

This information is used to deliver the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and improve reliability. Olivez does not use standard hosting logs to build personal profiles of visitors.

The current Olivez deployment may use the following third-party services. These services can process information directly when their features are loaded or used:

• Google Analytics

  Google Analytics helps measure visits, traffic sources, device categories, and general usage patterns. Google may receive information such as page URLs, IP addresses, device information, and cookies or similar identifiers.How Google uses information from partner sites

• Google AdSense

  Google AdSense supports advertising delivery, measurement, frequency control, fraud prevention, and, where permitted, ad personalisation. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar identifiers.How Google uses information from partner sites

These services are not required for Olivez's core calculations and local file operations. Their use is subject to applicable privacy and consent requirements.

You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser settings. Removing them may reset saved preferences or affect analytics and advertising features.

When you contact Olivez, the information received may include your name, email address, message, attachments, and anything else you choose to provide. The email service used to send and receive the message may also process that information.

Messages may be used to answer questions, investigate bugs or security reports, review corrections and suggestions, prevent abuse, and keep necessary correspondence records.

Send only the information needed to explain the issue. A redacted or synthetic example is preferable to a private original whenever possible.

Information that actually reaches Olivez or a service used to operate Olivez may be used only as needed to:

• Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website
• Retrieve reference data for tools that need a server-assisted lookup
• Remember local preferences and tool state
• Respond to messages and investigate reported problems
• Measure performance and usage when analytics is enabled
• Deliver and measure advertising when advertising is enabled
• Meet legal obligations and protect Olivez, its users, and the public

Information may be processed by hosting, analytics, advertising, email, and other providers only when their services are used. Those providers have their own privacy policies and may process information according to their own systems and legal obligations.

Information that actually exists with Olivez or one of its service providers may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to respond to a valid legal request, investigate abuse, enforce website terms, protect rights or safety, or transfer operation of the website in accordance with applicable law.

Information stored only in your browser remains there until it is replaced or removed by you, the tool, or the browser.

Technical or usage information handled by hosting, analytics, advertising, and security providers is retained according to the relevant provider's systems, settings, and policies. This is not an Olivez database of your tool history.

Contact messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate the issue, maintain security or business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

You can limit information processing by clearing olivez.in site data, avoiding share links that contain private values, choosing not to use external-request features, and using the privacy controls provided by your browser or service provider.

If Olivez actually receives personal information about you, the rights available to you depend on where you live and the law that applies. These may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent.

These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. Olivez may request enough information to understand and verify a request. Data stored only on your device is not available to Olivez for remote access or deletion.

Children's privacy

Olivez is a general-audience utility website. It does not currently provide user accounts or public profiles and is not designed to directly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has sent personal information to Olivez that should be removed, contact Olivez with enough information to investigate without sending unnecessary personal information.

Security

Olivez uses reasonable technical measures intended to keep the website and its connected services operating securely. Local processing is used for many tools specifically to reduce unnecessary data transfers.

No website, device, transmission method, browser storage system, or service provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Consider the sensitivity of information before using any online tool.

This policy may be updated when Olivez changes its tools, providers, storage practices, analytics, advertising, security measures, or legal obligations. The last-updated date at the top of the page will be revised when a new version is published.
