Donut Quantity Planner
Plan a transparent donut order from guest count, serving assumption, reserve percentage, box size, and variety count.
Start with the event
One donut per person may suit a short meeting with other food. A donut-focused breakfast or long event often needs a more generous assumption.
The calculator keeps donuts per guest editable and applies the reserve separately, so the order is easy to explain and adjust.
Order in real box sizes
The planned quantity is rounded to whole donuts, then rounded again to the selected box size. Box overage is shown rather than hidden.
The variety split is a neutral starting point. Give the extra pieces to familiar or requested flavours and include clearly separated dietary options when needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many donuts should I plan per person?
Use 1 for a light snack with other food, 1.5 for mixed refreshments, 2 for a donut-focused break, or 3 for a generous or long event, then adjust for your guests.
Why are there two kinds of overage?
The reserve is intentional; box overage happens afterward because bakeries sell fixed package sizes.
